OK... Well this is sort of a follow up to the 8300 review...

RECEPTION: Put next to each other, db ratings were a little bit better on the 8300.

Build Quality: Surprisingly, The samsung is better IMO... the plastic is higher quality and the phone is smaller, lighter and better looking. The sanyo is nice, but lets get a new design, please! :fingers:

Camera and Video: HANDS DOWN: A880! :deal:

Earpiece: While the 8300 has the 5600's earpiece, it still does not even begin to compare to the Samsung's. :indiff:

Battery life: By far the 8300!

Vision speeds: While it is very close, the A880 takes the cookies! :bang:

Menus: HAH! are you kidding me sanyo!? a880, duh!

Speakerphone: A880, its full duplex.

Keypad: personal preference, while the A880's keypad does not seem to be as efficient, I like it better.

When I get back next week I will do another review with more comparisons... so far the score is: Sanyo 8300: 2 points Samsung a880: 7 points
