Opinions? I think it was foolish of R* to leave that in the game. Well, I should say it was fine to leave it in, but not to desire a Mature rating. Opinions?

Kind of reminds me of the Sony Dual Shock issue...........having to stop sales right away.
And in this case, pull all of the Mature-rated marked ones.......and replace them with AO-rated ones. How much will that cost?
Plus, it's only one year's age difference between the ratings.....oh wow.
Also, "Hot Coffee" can only be accessed (PS2-wise) via a cheat device.......right?

Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Gamestop, etc. have all stopped carrying the game. AO titles just won't sell nearly as well. Its not a matter of patching the boxes, its when they can get an M-Rated version out, and it will be from August to October.
As someone looking to buy SA, this is disappointing. My old version was stolen, and I was going to purchase it today. But now I'll have to buy it on eBay or something. Grr.

Well I already have the game since it came out, im 14, nothing in the game seems mature, plus my case say........... wow just looked at it , it says mature, well this guy sold it to me when I was 13. Wow aren`t I the lucky one.

But with the AO rating kids are gonna still get thier hands on the game and the game has already been realeased so most of the kids that wanted it already have it so there is no use for them to put and AO rating. Even with the AO parents dont even pay attention so they will just buy it for their kids anyways..... my $.02

I guess that's what Rockstar gets for leaving adult content on the dvd. If they didn't mean for porn to be in the final release they should have removed it completely.. because of course hackers would find it sooner or later.
Don't get me wrong, I love the game and I love porn, but it's good they changed the rating to AO so that other companies can't get away with putting hidden content in games and get milder ratings.

Jake, you're too young. ;) Don't worry about it.......and if you say that you have the game, your parents should spank you. :irked:

You said it. Sounds to me like that was the intention all along. R* may just have intended this...using the media for free advertising. As soon as other games start outselling GTA:SA, you bring out the new selling point. Wait to ship the product to the stores until AFTER a frenzy for the game surfaces, and whammo. Instant sales spike all over again.

thats just not right. I dont see how parents have the right to complain about something like this....none the less get it changed.
1st off, it was a MATURE game to begin with. and to add to it, you have to search for how to add the "hot coffee" mod. its not like its a part of the game that you can come across playing it like normal people.
if its not accessible through the normal course of using the game, I dont see what the problem is.

 yeah I have it, but after I posted that I saw on MTV news what it was. Who gives a damn!? its computer generated for God's sake!

I'm hella late when it comes to stuff like this. I own the game, but I've yet to take it out of the plastic and play it ( I'm still on the drop bombs in the trashcan mission of vice city), so what is this Hot coffee stuff. You can PM me if it's one of those things that aren't for our young readers.

Well, I'm 2-3 missions from the end now. I spent a whole night trying to beat that stupid flight school. I really wish those missions weren't required...
