does anyone have any pictures of the holsters and/or cases for this phone. I am thinking about the leather case, I normally wouldn't buy one. . .especially with the cool face on this phone, but for some reason I really want to protect this phone!

I am going to the Sprint store tomorrow to check out cases. I like this clear By Tech one I got at the mall stand last year for my 8200... But there not out yet for the 8300... I took my 8200 out of the case cause it was hard to text message with it in the case. I ended up leaving it out and someone dropped my blue 8200 leaving a big white chip in it... So I really want a case for this phone. BUt for nopw my 8200 case fits it kind of ok.. But my 8200 is ripped a little and old and dirty... I need a new case. I may get a holster too will see.. If the phone clips on good while in a case then I wont need a holster really. But I like the clear holsters also. Rose

I bought the blue bodygove case from the sprint store for my 8300. So far, so good. It is kind of funny getting used to a case on my phone, but I think I can learn to like it.

That is nice!! I boght this pouch for mine to hold me over till the case I wanted came out. But the phone was hard to get out of the pouch and the plate would start to come off so I took it back. I am waiting for the clear By Tech Case to come out. I am using my 8200 one for my 8300 for now.. It's not a perfect fit but good enough.

Norymeoreason41, that case looks nice. I didn't know bodyglove had colored form fitting cases. Almost makes me want to upgrade to the 8300.

My store didn't have that when I was in there yesterday. I had seen the pouches and bought this clear one. But there was a real cute Body pouch that was in pink. But then I took back the clear pouch cause I didn't like it. I showed him my clear bytech flip case from my 8200 and said do you have anything like this it doesn't have to be clear and he said no not yet for the 8300.. He had a holster for it though which was clear. I used a holster for my 8200 but the clear case has a button on the back to hold a clip.. I wish this clear case had the clip already on it that would be cool.. But I am waiting for the mall stand to get my case in that I want. Rose

Well, mine came from the spcs store in Gainesville, FL., if anyone is in the area and wants one. But honestly, I don't know if I can deal with having a case on my phone. I love this phone because of its small size, and the case just adds bulk. It is useful for me when I'm at work because I can just clip in onto my belt, but when I'm off, I have to either clip in on my shorts and look goofy, or deal with a big bulky phone in my pocket. And it's not easy enough to take off, so that doesn't make sense. I am still deciding on this one. :confused:

I hate having a phone in a case also but I do it... My thing is it's hard to text message with it in the case.. I am calling back this accesory stand at the mall to see when and if there getting the clear by tech case in that I want for the 8300.. I want more face plates to come out or accent plates as they call them hee hee.. Rose

I just picked this leather case up at the Sprint store and I have to say I like it but I have to get used to it. I never owned a leather case for any of my phones (I've used holsters but only if it came with the phone). I actually just like feeling of the phone and throwing it in my pocket but like the original poster said I feel like I want to protect this phone.

I am using the leather case for it as well and having a heck of a time txt messaging and dialing. I can't really feel the buttons to tell if I'm actually hitting them or not. I do like that Body Glove case..I might have to hunt one of them down though.

Also....Can someone who knows someone, who's friend works for Sprint tell them we need some "accent" plates that are just a teeny tiny bit more masculine than what's available now.PLEASE....HEHE

I may get one of those.. I had one for my 8200 from the mall accesory stand but 2 of them broke... They were 10 bucks Sprints are 20 but I heard they are much better.. I am still waiting for the clear bytech case to come out. Stand said they just got a shipment in wont get another in for 2 more weeks... Rose

I just spoke to a lady from By Tech who makes the clear shuttle case that I want. She said it will be out in 3 weeks it is not made yet. So I may get that blue body glove one to hold me over... I may ride out to this other sprint store today to see what they have. I just want something where my phone can stay in the case while I use it. Rose

Now thats the one pictured on the page before right? The blue one and its a clam shell case? I tried to call this other Sprint store and they never answer. It's hard to get out there cause of traffic but the closer one by my house that I like and bought my phone from didn't have it. I wonder what best Buy has does anyone know? Radio Shack usually just has a black one thats 30 bucks. I hate to wait 3 weeks for this clear By Tech Shuttle one but the 8200 case that I am using in the mean time is ripped and ripping more and it's old and dirty.. I need a new nice case now.. Rose

I called By Tech I finally found there website. They informed me that the Clear Shuttle Case that I want for the 8300 isn't made yet. It will be made soon and out for me to buy in about 3 weeks. They said they will e-mail me back when it is ready for buying and that I can buy directly from them. But in the mean time I had e-mailed a couple companies off the web to see if they had the case and Eastmans e-mails me back today saying that have it. But if By Tech tells me they haven't made it yet Eastman can't have it. But my 8200 case is ripping more and more so I need something to hold me over for 3 weeks. I like that body glove one with the blue. Does it come in other colors? Does Best Buy sell those? Thanks, Rose

Sprint stores have them...most of the new hostlers are clear and not black. If he doesn't post a pic, tomorrow when im back at my store i will take a pic for you and post it

I ended up getting the body glove case that was posted here with the blue around it. I don't care for it that much. It's 2 seperate pieces and it was hard to get off the top for me when I wanted to change my face plate last night. But the old 8200 clear shuttle case I am using ripped even more so I needed something. I asked the guy at the store for the box it came in cause he cut it open and said he would put my phone on there. I really didn't like it while I was in the store but I felt stupid after he cut the box open and was putting my phone on there. But he said oh you don't need the box you have 14 days so I thought I would try it. The case I want for the 8300 should be out in 2 -3 weeks anyway. Eastman Wireless tried saying they had the case I wanted but By Tech said it's not been made yet. Rose

Why doesn't your phone work? I took the blue body glove case back. Too hard to get the phone in and out when you want to change the plates and I just like my clear 8200 case so much better that I am waiting for the 8300 version to come out in a week or so. Rose

I was swaping numbers for the phone and there is a hang up in the system. I just called tech support again and they said that they would have to write a push ticket to complete it manually. The rep told me that it should be completed by tomorrow afternoon. Oh well. I just saw on the site that they have the 8300 for $99.99 if you buy it online. Oh well I paid 129 for mine on Saturday.

Well the phone works now the case is cool keeps the phone well protected. I think. well we will see what will happen once I start dropping it

My Sprint store had it. I got an e-mail today from By Tech that the shuttle case I have been waiting for is in stock now. But she said it was in blue or black.. The one for my 8200 that I have was silver and it's clear that's what I really wanted. So I don't know what I am going to do now.. I would call all Sprint stores in your area for that case you want. Rose
