Hey,

i upgraded the phone on 6/7 (3 month earlier, thanks to a cust. service rep). i've been with sprint for years, have 4 phones on the account, and i'm attached to a business (not a business account)

i've misplaced the rebate, but didn't worry too much thinking i'm going to do it later, finally I found it yesterday and found out that there is a mail in by date, which was 7/05.

SO i figured i'm going to call customer support and try to straighten it out, the CS said that's not a problem and the rebate department should be able to get it fixed for me, and transfered me over.

The person who i talked to in the rebates. department first thought i didn't recieve my rebate, asked me to hold and then came back saying they didn't recieve my rebate. I said duh and explained the problem again, i was promtly told that i am no longer eligible for the rebate and i'm SOL.

I stopped by the sprint store, and spoke to a guy there. He told to send in the rebate, and then call and call and call hoping to get a nicer person. It didn't sound to reassuring.

What are my options? I paid a ****load for sanyo 5600 and i want my $150.

The only thing I could suggest would be to do like the store rep said and go ahead and send it in and keep trying to call rebates

At this point it might be too late as you have already called about it and tried to file. The terms of the rebate are what they are (and probably why they have begun changing them). Are you sure you didn't mail the rebate in? Perhaps you did and just forgot you did?

I think companies hope people don't send in rebates. That's the reason they are mail in and not instant. They save alot of money by poople forgetting, or delaying in sending them in. I'd still send it and keep bugging them. Worst that can happen is you don't get it, which is what will happen if you do nothing.

I usually send my rebates in the day I make my purchase
