View Full Version : Splitting up MP3 Files

I have a quick question. I'm getting brave and going to try to use some of my mp3 files as ringers for my 5600. In another thread I found out how to convert them to AAC format with the iTunes. I only want a portion of the songs, not the entire song, plus my phone only has so much memory available anyway.

Can someone recommend to me an easy-to-use program to split up my .mp3 file so I can just use the part of the song I want playing as a ringer? (Free is always good).

Honestly, I did a search of the forums and couldn't come up with a similar thread. :dazed: and couldn't find anything from other user posts.

Thanks in advance.

Wirelessly posted (Treo 650: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0) 16;320x320)

Google for "MP3 Cutter". There is a free trial version. It only allows you to truncate one file at a time but that's all I evee needed.
