just thought i'd post some higher res pics of the 225. showed up yesterday. i ordered it through telesales on wednesday around 1:30pm and got it the next day. pretty sweet. same as the silver 225 (and basically the 125), just with the red that you see. i've gotta clean those fingerprints off. oh, and i also thought i'd show a couple of pics taken with the camera.
Wow I like it... are red and silver the only two color choices?

It looks great on the 125... which is basically the same as the 225, you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't TFT if you didn't know better.

Very nice indeed. There's no choice between the red and silver.
How about some pics of the phone while opened, smitty?

screen is very nice for STN. best i've seen. don't expect a toshiba 4050. but it's sill nice. same with the external screen. reception is decent. about the same as the 325, which was about average. nothing stellar but was always adequate for me. i believe red and silver will be the only choices available. the box only mentions those two. i'll take some pics of the phone while open and post shortly.

ok. here's some more pics. sorry for the modem burning.
it's a nice little phone. i think everyone should check it out in person at a sprint store when they start showing up and play with it and make some test calls to hear how it sounds. i think for the money this is a great phone. the only weakness is reception, and again it's perfectly fine. it's just not the very best.

Something I noticed on the 125 floor model at the store near me is that there was a lag navigating the menus. Is that the case for this phone?

Would you say that the reception is similar to the 325? My wife has the 325, and she seems to get reception in spots my a620 would only hope for...

there may be a very slight lag from time to time. i can't say for sure if this is worse or better than the 125, but i was just playing with my phone and there wasn't much if any lag. it's better than the 325.

That is one of the coolest looking flip phones I have seen. I don't know what it is about that color. Maybe because its different...

I like the red version. Color can go a long way. The phone doesn't look appealing at all to me in the regular colors.

New to the LG family:
(1) can a downloaded picture be assigned to the external LCD?
(2) does the screen stay on while charging?
(3) Can a ringtone be assigned to a text message or any other alert?
Just my "issues" I've found perculiar thru my limited time of ownership ...true?
I like how it has the grid view like the 325. The 125 doesn't have that and has an icon view instead. How's the UI on it? Cause my 325 is pretty slow sometimes.

(1) Not for sure on the 225.......but, I don't THINK it is.
(2) Yes, all of the LGs seem to do that......of course, it doesn't stay on full backlighting.
(3) Yes, and you can assign Voice Memos, as well.
(I'm basing this off my 325.....all the current LGs seem to have almost the same UI)
