Damn Los Angeles, CA and Harrisburg, PA are not gonna get any til 2009? By then I'm sure we'll have 4GB TF/MicroSD cards and 8GB MiniSD cards and 16GB regular SD cards. CompactFlash will probably be at 64GB by then.

btw what the longest video you can take right now? In fine mode is it choppy/pixelated?

If you have 1GB MiniSD card, you can take about 10 hours of video, give or take a couple of hours, not choppy at 15FPS, not pixelated if in original view. A little pixelated if you expand the view. But this is true no matter what bitrate you set.

512 is the largest TF/MicroSD available at the moment. Haven't heard anything about a 1GB yet. I do believe there is a 1GB MiniSD, though.

I went to ecost.com and ordered a 512mb. It waited CONVENIENTLY until AFTER the order was placed to tell me that they are on backorder. No date. Only $69 with shipping and everything. There are very few on ebay. Just started seeing them yesterday. Also, Sandisk's website states that the 1gb will be available in 2006. BUT, it also said the 512mb would be out in August and we all saw how that went!
