I just upgraded to the Futuredial Suite so I can use it to sync my contacts on my 5600. It has been a problem from the start. It will work with a 5500 and a A680 but not with my 5600. Is there a setting on the phone i'm missing that will allow it to connect to my 5600? It tells me unable to detect comport and even if I select it manually it still won't work.

contact futuredial for an upgrade.
THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THE UPGRADE FOR THE 5600 WITH THE INITIAL PURCHASE
(but don't tell you that when you buy it and the ad says it works with the 5600) (can you tell i'm pissed about it too... i bought the fd suite and paid for fedex, then they wouldnt fedex me the update they sent it regular mail)

When I run the software in the drop down menu it shows the 5600 though. I did download the updated module (the fd website is slower than hell). I will see if it works now.

Just got the update installed and all I can say is this software is useless. Works with all my phones but my 5600. Still tells me no phone detected. It seems that I need a driver called "data interface". I have no clue where to get it. If I'm doing something wrong feel free to comment so I can try something else.

From what they told me, it is not a downloadable update. It is by cd only

So I order the upgrade on the pretense that it will work with my 5600 and will now have to contact them to get an updated cd? That is ridiculous. I can tell you this, they are not going to be happy to hear from me monday.

I would agree with many of the above comments.
FutureDial has really dropped the ball recently and I question many of their business decisions and strategies.
It seems they have stopped updating SnapSync. I asked them "why" via e-mail and they responded SnapSync is "outdated". Translation: They want you to upgrade to "FutureDial Suite" and give them more money. What's funny is the same application they called "outdated" (SnapSync) is identical in "FutureDial Suite"...it's just re-named and bundled with other crappy applications.
They have really sold out their "older" customers.
"F" them!!! Can you say DataPilot, BitPim, Palm, Windows Mobile, Wireless Sync?????
(Boy, that felt good)

YES, If you go into the setup, ##33284# and move down to USB Mode, press OK, Highlight Modem, press OK, then END - shut down the phone - Press END and turn it back on. It should work then. This is only changed if maybe you were in there playing around :) The other choice is the "USB Mode: Composite" and I have no idea what that mode is for. Maybe someone else know that on here, and No you can not do #777 in either mode - It's Blocked as it will be on all newer phones.
The Drivers on their site as of TODAY 06/27, version 2.0.1.70
[To find out your Version, Browse to c:\Programs Files\FutureDial\FutureDial Suite then Right Click on the file, FutureDialSuite.EXE, 2nd Tab is Version, then Item Name: File Version.]
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS VERSION or Higher.
Earlier Versions could mess up your phone.
If your still having problems, it's in the drivers since the phone is now set right, SO Uninstall them .. In the Futuredial USB Modem folder is a EXE to remove them, then reinstall from the CD.
Hope this helps!

It seems like 1 out of every 3 can transfer from selected phones. 1 out of every 10 can transfer from most sprint phones. 1 out of every 20 can repair or hp test.
