I'm looking for free (really free... not pay one price and then download all you want) ringtones for my treo 650 and sanyo 8200 sprint phones. Anyone know how to get them free? It seems everytime I think I have found a site with free ringtones... they are not really free. Also, can someone direct me to a program or site that allows you to create your own ringtones for sprint phones that you can upload to your phone.

ringertones.com will work, at least for a few ringtones.
You will either need a cable or need to find a site that will send you the ringtones through an SMS message. Rumkin's Phone Uploader site works well

This is a useful tool to send pretty much anything you want (Ringers, Screen Savers, Animated Savers, Backgrounds, Games, etc.) to your phone.
You will have to pay some fee's for using Vision though. If you don't have it, it's only a penny/Kilobit. So it's rather cheap, until you start sending yourself a ton of ringtones, etc.

i just dont understand people wanting everything for free... granted im the first to try to find the free option. But with ringtones... its hard to have a server and host a wesite for absolutely free. And with that in mind the libraries usually arent that good or updated well when people are just doing it as a small time hobby.

Glenny... i dont appreciate wut u said about people tryna get everything for free. I am NOT tryin to get everything for free, altho that be nice... that is totally not my intention. I was inquiring about free ringtones ONLY because of the enormous amounts of money i pour into my service a month and for the phone... so with that said, i jus feel it would be nice to get SOMETHIN for free.. considerin i am a good customer, one of the BEST actually! =)
Also: I am not postin this to create or cause a fite or war or anything like that. I am definately NOT here for any drama wutsoeva. I jus think its pretty rude of u to make a remark like that, it makes me and every1 else who posted on this...look like scavengers. and that i am NOT. im not here to argue i just think if you already have a huge bill or whatever it may be, you can prolly scratch 2-5 bucks for 1 month unlimited. I spend 20 dollars just rolling out of bed (gas, ciggarettes, redbull). And since sprint is open ended you can make your own and upload.

BUT, to me, 2-5 bux aint really much. but hey i guess it jus depends on the person and the persons prefrence and likings! what does ur plan consist of? i have 1ooo anytime minutes-free n/w at 6pm-100 free text messages- free long distance- pics and web for 15 bux, i think haha, i donno havent gotten my first bill yet, but i believe thats how it goes... u think thats a good deal?

nope not an employee ..i 4got my total bill is 55.00 per month!!! thats jus 1 of many new plans around here in boston...i didnt mean 15bux total ..15 for the wweb sorry i didnt clarify that....i made it sound like it was 15 for the whole bill...thats not the case4.....it would be ausum tho =)

sounds pretty good... everythings changing right now... only fair and flex (which is better for the cutomers anyway), with the merger free sprint to nextel minutes from sep 1st, ohhhhhh and the most important.....
