I'd think it would use the same driver as all the other Sanyo phones. Do you have a cable to try with yet?

Try setting it to "Other CDMA Phone".... that's what I had to do to connect to my 535. You could try setting it to another Sanyo model, but I've never tried that so do that at your own risk. You have the latest version?

I just received a USB data cable for my Sanyo 8200 that I bought on Ebay. I also downloaded the drivers from the Sanyo website. However, I'm not getting the "Found New Hardware" message when I connect the USB cable to my PC. The phone perks up and displays the "<-" connection symbol in place of the battery logo, but the PC doesn't seem to recognize that I've connected a device to the USB port. I tried it on both my PCs (Dell Dimension P4 with USB2 ports running XP Home) with the same disappointing results. Faulty cable?  :frustrate

Please help!! Thanks.

Sounds like the phone thinks it's being charged.... which means that you have a charging USB cable. In any case, try opening Device Manager, then hookup your phone to the computer. If the computer is even detecting it, it should show there even if there's a problem.

Where can I get a PC cable for my phone Sanyo 200?Any of the Sanyo Vision cables (except the 6400) will work. But there isn't really anything you can do with the cable - since you can't add ringtones, use the web, download pictures, etc. If you get a charging cable you can use it to charge the phone from your laptop or desktop, but I think that's it. - sheureka
