In the corporate wireless email world, BBs are big. That is not just because of the device, but due to the fact that the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) s/w that is installed on the corporate network provides robust and reliable push email capability & calendar sync to the BB devices. This BES/BB model is way above any other implementation. The other implementations (Goodlink, Seven...) may be catching up, but they have a lot of catching up to do in terms of the installation base. BBs have been around for years, initially as wireless email only devices, and now as hybrid phone devices.

The BB is not for individual / family users because it can only be fully exploited with a BES in the background.

Ordered mine for FREE today with our corporate deal! Can't wait to get it.

Basically a Blackberry is required for all of us (about 10,000+ in the US alone). Email can only be checked and sent from the corporate laptop or a Blackberry. Nothing else is supported...not even a web client.

they're so ugly and limited treo 650 wise, but then again: they are made specifically for business....pda and ppc phones have gotten us spoiled
