I apologize if this has been asked before, but I was unable to find a post listed. I recently converted some videos to play on my A800 but during playback, half the picture is covered by the control visual on the screen. This little visual takes up one third of the screen and kind of makes it pointless to watch videos. Any suggestions wold be great. Thank you!

Sounds like you converted to 3GP's QVGA option, which is 320x240 - this makes the video play sideways on the A800, which would be great IF you could turn off the player controls.
But you cant - so what you have to do is make sure to encode at 240pixels WIDE. Up the data rate to at least 128k for better quality. That's it! A standard 4:3 TV show will take up the entire top section of the media player as it's supposed to.

Thank you very much for the answer to my problem, but I have one more quick question. If using the 3GP-Converter, what is the setting I should have selected?

Could you send me some links of your converted files so I can see how they look as a wide screen video and see if it really fills up the screen ... Please

Basim - go to my site (temporarily not updated due to the 5600 not playing my A800 files!) and download the Titus episode pack. Those fill the A800 screen properly.

which program can I use to specify 240x240?

Well I use QuickTime Pro and punch in 240 pixels wide in the video settings, while constraining the aspect ratio. That way the movie always fill the width of the screen even if it's a widescreen movie. =)

Don't you have to pay for quicktime pro?
ahhh!

Ok, I uploaded the two commercials to You Send It.
Could you resize them and host them possibly? I would really appreciate it:D
