One feature I would love to have on my phone is an IRC client for chatting.
Yes, I know there's AIM and such, but I need IRC specifically.
Does anyone know of an app that I could download to my phone for this? Especially one that will work on a Nokia 6225.

That... Is just an incredible site.
Downloaded Virca and it works great! I joined a chat on both my phone and my desktop computer. They both even updated at the same time. Well above expectations, as I was expecting it to be like the AIM client.

Mytreo.net has one as well called something like UPCirc. just go to the downloads section and look under" instant messaging"... It's free.

i also recommend jmIrc. its got the same window format as virca, but supports many more features. specifically timestampped text (GMT, sadly not localtime) mIRC colors, nick/name highlighting, bold, italics, and did i mention colors? :)

Yeah, I tried jmIrc but it doesn't work quite right on my 6225. It won't save my preference settings and I have to reenter all of the server/nick/user info everytime I start it up. I'm not sure why it won't work but Virca does, when they're both based on the same source.
Meh. Not much that can be done about that, though.
I like the colors and wish it would work but I can live with Virca.
