MM-5600 Record Phone Conversations?

Hi,

I've been searching the forums and trying to find out how to record a phone conversation with the MM-5600. There's a voice memo that only records about 18 seconds, but I want to use the voice recorder to recorder entire conversations and save the audio onto my mini sd. I can save a few hours worth of audio to my mini sd with the sound recorder, so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to record a conversation the same way. If anyone knows how, or if you can link me to a thread where this is already explained, I would be greatly appreciative.

I thought I saw mention of that feature somewhere on here too, not that I believe it's true. It's illegal to record a conversation without letting the person know, so I doubt Sanyo would make that a feature on one of their phones.

Actually, it's not illegal in Michigan. If I, the person recording the message, am part of the conversation, it's legal. I do criminal investigations for a crime newspaper.

I know I saw this in one of the 7400 Tips/Tricks threads. I think someone said you can only listen to one side of the conversation though. I'm not sure how it works.
