Please read the following. I really need help with this!! :scare: Perhaps someone can help...
This phone is not currently able to be activated. From talking with Sprint it looks like it was once attached to a corporation's account but was never activated. So when you call Sprint to activate it shows up as an invalid ESN. Sprint will not reveal anymore since I am not the original account holder. So if you bid and win this phone you must understand that it can't be activated unless you can resolve the problem with Sprint or maybe know someboday that can help you out. So, basically you can still use all the PDA functions, MP3 player, camera, camcorder, games, calculator, calender, alarm, memos, to-do list, etc..... I will supply the ESN to the winning bidder once the auction has been won. Email me with any additional questions.
does anyone know how I can resolve this problem? :fingers:

Something simular happend to me. I had an older phone that my daughter wanted... I called in to swap phones and the CS mistakenly typed the wrong ESN into the system. (one digit off). Anyway, the phone would never work, (this was like two days) I called to find out what the deal was and the CS accused me of fraud saying I had stolen the phone (yes, point blank) I explained to her that this is my phone and I have the reciept for it, she would have nothing to do with it, directed me to the fraud web page. Called an hour later, got ahold of more clearer english speaking CS and she told me all I had to do was go INTO a sprint store and they could manual use the other ESN to activate the phone.... No biggie took like two minutes. While I was there she chould see how the other CS typed in in the wrong ESN to begin with.....laughed about it and now all is good

Saw that phone being sold on ebay. You will not be able to activate a phone with an invalid ESN. Typing in the wrong ESN is easy to resolve, having a locked out ESN can not be resolved by going into a sprint store.

basically they would have to contact that previous account holder and make sure they want to release the esn. but i think usually they have to wait for that account holder to release the esn first.

A business rep that knew what they were doing could remove that as long as the phone was not flagged lost/stolen and there are no notes in the account about the device not being allowed to be activated
