You can't access the regular Yahoo Mail WAP site? (Throught the link in Messaging....Mail, from the Vision homepage) I just did.

It's not new, it's been there. Must people won't pay $2.99 a month for this app when you can go to yahoo.com and check your mail there for free. Same with the Y! Messenger

UNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) - Internet search engine firm Yahoo Inc. said Wednesday it has teamed with telecom giant Sprint Corp. to offer cheap e-mail services for mobile devices.

The new Yahoo Mail for Mobile service, retailing for $2.99 per month, gives consumers with certain Sprint PCS Vision mobile devices access to their Yahoo Mail account through a PC-like interface. The Yahoo Mail product also gives Sprint customers space to store their e-mail on their handsets, which means they can access previously downloaded messages even when a data connection is not available.

The new service represents an alternative for consumers that don't have a Blackberry or other PDA device, and will be available on certain Samsung and Sanyo cell phone models as well as on palmOne Inc.'s Smart Device Treo, which has buttons similar to Research In Motion Ltd.'s popular Blackberry.
