Hey guys, I just bought my first Sprint phone, MM-7400 today. It's a pretty aweome phone! I've got the Vision Premium pack and Readylink. I was just curious is there any way to view HTML sites, or anyway to post on forums wirelessly from the MM-7400.
I'm sorry if this has already been covered, but I looked around and couldn't seem to find much.
Nice to meet you all! I don't know anyone with Readylink so if anyone is looking for somoene to talk to, let me know

Hey guys, thanks! Yeah the MM-7400 is a pretty awesome phone so far.
Is there any way to access pages that aren't WAP. Just a standard website, such as www.sprint.com or gmail.com ? I can view them just they're all jumbled up and they don't display pictures or any sort of organized layout. Thanks again for your responses!

yes. webviewer from reqwireless.com works great on my 7400. go to reqwireless.com from your phone, and download free trial. if you like it,go to the website from your pc and one time buy for $20. it is well worth it.

Agreed. Reqwireless works well most of the time. You will not be able to view gmail with it though. :(

Wow! Thanks for the awesome help everyone, this is first forum I've come to with so many friendly people. Thanks for responding so quickly!
I don't want to start another thread for this if I don't have to ... but I downloaded the "Jimmy Eat World - Work" ringtone, and it sounds amazing! I was looking into how to make AAC Ringtones, and I got the basic conecept, you crop the section you want, save it and then convert it at 32 khz as a .m4a (mpeg-4) file. The problem I'm having is when I send it to my phone it goes under "Vidoes" *I think Sanyo spelled Videos wrong when they made the phone, either that or I have a messed up phone  * and it sounds SUPER loud, fuzzy, bass-heavy, and just ... like complete crap. It sounds like it's about to blow my speaker out.
Does anyone know how to make ringtones that sound REALLY good, i looked at the tutorial under the Focus uploader and one using Nero Wave Editor. Neither sounded good, same problems ... but with nero i coudlnt figure out hwo to use the bass, volume, and noise functions ... :-\
I'm actually trying to do my next ringtone on a song called "Pain" by the same band. But I'd still like to know how to do it for future reference.
This is kind of irritating, does anyone know what I can do? :indiff:

make sure you rename the FILE EXTENTION, not just the file name, to .m4a

Thanks, I changed the extension to .m4a, and some of the tones i make sound super good. But others don't .. here's a cpouple of questions I have ...
1) When you upload tones using the focus uploader, do the files automatically get changed to .qcp format, and is there anyway to do that on your own? For bigger files and such.
2) Is there anyway to remove, or lower the bass from the ringtones, it sounds really crappy on some with some bass, and also like it's about to break my speaker. :irked:
I just got my RadioShack 7400 Holster today and it's pretty cool :), just thought I'd throw that in there. Also, this is probably a stupid quesiton, but is there anyway to do some type of surgery on the phone to give it more space? or to add an SD Card slot like the 5600 has? Probably not, but that'd be cool as hell :).
Thanks for your help everyone!!!

The only surgery you can do on that phone is changing the faceplates...and there is no way for you to add an SD slot...if you want something with memory, look at the A800 or 5600...
