Hello, just a real quick question for everyone...

Had a 4050, crapped out.
Lockline sent Samsung A700, not comparable.
Called back and am being sent a 5600.

I don't really want a 5600 and wanted a 7400 the entire time so I bought a 7400 the other day. Activated it and am currently using it. I'm going to now sell the 5600 on Ebay.

My question is, does the 5600 ever need to be activated by me or can it just be sold when I recieve it? If I do have to activate it, can I do so and then call right back and switch back to my 7400?

thanks!

Wirelessly posted (SHARP-TM-150/1.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.2.6.c.2.102 (GUI) MMP/1.0)

You may be billed for the 5600. To be safe you should activate it for awhile. Either way, you got one hell of an upgrade.

why should they bill him for it?
if he never activates it?
by all rights it should be his regardless of wether he sells it or not...

Lockline might activate that 5600 on your account automatically as they send it out...

Don't think you need to activate it...you are receiving it as a valid replacement for a claim that was properly processed...you should be able to do whatever you want with that phone...it's not like you are scamming anybody here...just remember to list it properly as either new or refurbished depending on the condition of the phone you are sent...lockline does not promise new phones since they are replacing used ones, so you could actually get a refurb, which would not sell for as much...

if you've never tried the 5600, you might want to give it a run for a few days...offers a lot of perks the 7400 does not, although if you are set on the 7400, then just sell the new one...

they did that crap to me before...i activated an old phone to use until i got the replacement, but they activated the replacement without me knowing...i hate it because if someone stole my package then they could use my phone
