my 8100 died on me about two months ago, while i decided what phone to get i went to my wife's old samchum n400, big mistake, what a piece of crap that phone was, made me see just how much better the sanyo's reception are.
anyway i was torn between a 8200 and a 2300. when i went to the sprint store near me, the blue 8200 was oos, that made the descision easier, plus i did't use the camera much on the 8100. so i got the black 2300
pros:
great reception, even a little better than my 8100.
nice feel, very light weight.
speaker phone sounds great, much better than the n400
outside lcd orange color goes well with the black color
good choice of ringers and tones
great battery life
cons
small main lcd, would have liked it to be at least as big as the 8100's
outside lcd is too small
i like to talk on the speaker phone with the phone closed, but when i am done there is no button to end the call, have to open and press end.
all the games are demo's
i can't find a way to turn the volume of the alarm down.
overall i am very happy with this phone, will get used to the con's as ni know every phone has them and that there is no one perfect phone.
