I have a Treo 650 and a Jabra BT250. The headset fits and sounds great.

When I need to make a phone call, I have to dial the number on the Treo, then click the button on the headset to transfer the call from the phone to the headset.

This is very cumbersome, especially when driving. I've got to dial, put the phone down, click the button on the headset, while not letting go of the steering wheel and keeping an eye on traffic. Almost defeats the purpose of a BT headset...

My question: is there a way to get the headset to automatically pick up the call when a number is dialed? I know there are other headsets that have this capability, but I can't figure out a way to make this one work this way.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have the Jabra BT250 and the Scala Cardo 500(?). When set up both pick up a dialed call without doing anything. When receiving a call the Treo rings first and by the second ring the earpiece sounds off, which requires hitting the button on the headset. Does your headst ring when a calls come in? I would power off the headset, then turn it back on in the pairing mode and reset the bluetooth on the treo to repair them.

I also installed the voice dialing from the palm site and find it works very well. I tried a few others and deleted them after about 15 minutes of playing with them. With the voice dialling you hold the small side button and follow the voice prompts. It accesses the contact list and is correct most of the time. I like it-don't have to even look at the screen or keyboard to make a call.
