I wonder if Body Glove will come out with a case for it. I will never buy another case if its not Body Glove. They are so reliable and they look great.

Have any LG 535 people found cases for their phones. The cases must be similar...

the universal pouchs are the best fit for it...I keep my 535 in my pocket, and I have a PDA LCD screen protector on it

I need to do that...how does it make the screen look? Does it take away that crisp clarity?

The A800 won't need a PDA screen protector. The display is under a huge hunk of nearly scratch-resistant plastic. The phones display hasn't been scratched yet, even the slightest bit, in the last 3 weeks.

If you want to be safe then sorry, you are better off using a PDA screen protector, or you can curse out Tutu and file a $50 claim with lockline when your screen gets scuffed up

I will admit the demo model A800 I saw had a zip-tie ACROSS the screen (when it was closed), and yet it didn't seem to have any scratches. Then again, it might have been a very new demo model. Regardless I want to have sometihng lined up to protect the screen before I buy mine. Hopefully the plastic is extremely scuff resistant, though... my friend who has the Virgin Mobile slider can barely see through the scuffed up Kyrocera screen...

So much for scratch resistant plastic... Sorry to hear that. My screen had finally been scratched about a couple weeks ago. Here's the problem... I don't even know where the thing is. :(

oh man that sucks, i'm sorry. yeah the "scratch resistance" didnt help me much, i dont even know how the screen got the scratch. i am super careful with this thing and only keep it in my pocket and never ever let anything else in that pocket so i guess the soft material in my jeans is the a8's screen's weakness

The iPod mini is supposed to have a super scratch resistant screen, according to some people (and from what I've noticed)........but, I still keep it in a hard case.
Screen protectors are good to use, though........I have one on my UX50 (and I haven't changed it in a while; the screen still looks vibrant (it is a high-res screen) even with it on. (especially when it's dark....I can't tell that it's on there).

After doing a tremendous amount of searching and seeing that the mfr. case/pouch is out of stock on Samsungs website I found a case/pouch at the Nextel store. It is made of leather, has a magnetic snap on the front and a beltclip(not swiveling) on the back. It is made for the i530,710,730,etc. but fits the a800 very well. It sells for $24.99.
Hope this helps!

i'm wondering why they didn't make any cases for that phone. i mean it's an expensive phone. why wouldn't they make a case for it? that reminds me of when the razr came out and people were complaining why there wasnt a case because the phone could break so easily.

I'm using a holster with my LG... after about a month I haven't had any problems. I wasn't sure how well a slider and a pouch would mix.

They sell slider leather cases for the LG325 at Best Buy. I found that interesting for a second then realized that they just put a hole in the bottom of the case. :hair:

Your Wal-Mart must have carried another size of that universal carrier -or- you must have really crammed that A800 in there to make it fit! All the local Wal-Mart's had was the Medium (which would BARELY fit my A800... figured it would scratch the screen after a while it was so tight) and Large (which was also a tight fit but then swallowed the phone...)
I still haven't had any luck finding a case. Hopefully my A800 won't mind riding around in the shirt pocket for a while longer... although it makes me look like a dork...

Anyone have any luck finding a good case? I work at a car dealership this summer and I just know my A800 is going to get damaged if I don't find a case soon!
I'm so desperate I skipped lunch today and went to the Cingular store (talk about bad selection), Circuit City (stopped selling phones), CompUSA (the only case they had was way too tight... similar to the Wal-Mart case fatboy posted), and OfficeMax.
I've already checked Wal-Mart and Target... if someone doesn't find a good case soon I'm going to have to go check at K-Mart! For crying out loud, don't make me do it! LOL.

Well, y'all forced me to go to K-Mart. Last week a girl was unloading her groceries and two K-Mart employees threw her in her own trunk and stole her car (with her in it). But, seeing as my vehicle has no trunk, I braved the isles of the local K-Mart yesterday and found... get this... THREE cases that fit the A800!
The one I chose looks a lot like the case fatboy posted about earlier, but unlike the WalMart version it isn't super tight on the phone. They also had one made out of neoprene that fit well, and one made out of canvas that looked like something a mountain hiker would use. I almost bought it because it had like 15 latches and hooks and accessories, but I figured I'd look like a dork.
I'll post a picture when I find my digital camera, but if you're looking for a good case check out your local K-Mart!

I got a "Just Wireless" brand pouch from Best Buy that fits it pretty nice, it is tight enough not to worry about it falling out, but is easy to get in and out. I also got some screen protectors, Fellowes WriteRight Micro-Thin Screen Protectors. I would much rather be safe than sorry. Safer anyway than without the screen protector. You don't even know it is on if you put it on good.

I'm sure people in NYC can get a BYTECH case off the street for $10.00 They practically make a case for every phone on the market. No one buys cases from the stores anymore.
The guys that sell them are located on the sidewalk in front of every CELL PHONE store in the city. If not in front, try the corners where they have the tables.

It is Samsung case #17200000065.
I bought this case myself for $9.99 from:
http://www.wirelessgalaxy.com/ac/dp_samsung_i550/samsung_i550_lc2.html
It is definitely not a perfect fit, but it gets the job done for less than $10.00 (+ shipping).
It looks like it is FREE here :):

This thing is the most scratch-resistant phone I've ever seen in my life. Not just the screen, but the entire phone is holding up far better than any others I've had. Crazy. Just to be safe, though, I'm considering a layer of Crystal Guard.
