There is a long delay in receiving from that email, and also when i reply to it. They don't get it?
Is it the same for you?

they are using Globe Philippines. to send to them the number goes 01163__________ . Earthshaker, yeah don't reply to the SMS that they're sending to you. They wont receive it. You just have to open up a new SMS n' send it to their number instead of that email addy they're sending it from. My girl is getting pissed off that she can't send SMS's to me...god damn sprint...(thinking bout switcing over to another provider that actually allows to send n' receive international text...if they even have one yet lol) so she uses Chikara or whatever it's called. The free online chat thing where you can send SMS to anyone. Then i just send a reply back to her cell number.

Im recieving from my friend in cyprus fine but he doesnt seem to be getting my texts judging by the "Are you getting these?" messages im getting. Are there any trustworthy sms sites out there I can use to send to him since sprint doesnt seem to be getting through to him? (I dont wanna get him on a spam list).

I have an Orange-Uk phone here (roaming of course)that I used to test. Yes, it shows up as +919something, Then in the body of the message is my number +847nnnnnnn. Clicking reply tries to send to the +919 number. Not sure if that would have been routed to my number though...I did not try.

International users can get around sending messages to your phone by typing in the actual "email" address of your phone. Typically most phones with sms messaging have an "emai" like address associated with them. Sprint's is XXXXXX@messaging.sprintpcs.com where xxxx is the sprint pcs phone number. Cingulars is XXXX@mobile.mycingular.com. I would assume that international cel phones with SMS messaging would have some sort of an address that could be used to send messages to also.
You can typically find out what the @whatever.whatever portion of the address is by visiting the website of the celphone provider and looking through their help or FAQ.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more.
