Had the same problem all afternoon. Finally called Sprint from teh cell and they said it was an AOL problem as AOL has changed some things. I said it was Sprint's AOL problem then because we pay for that service from Sprint. They said I need to call back from a land line and they possibly could troubleshoot.

I bet all they have you do is clear cookies and cache and all that. Ah well... hopefully it's fixed soon.

Mine was saying the same the other day (service though Qwest uses Sprint) now it's just saying connection failed so who knows what's going on.

I've been getting the expired certificate message... doesn't let me go beyond that.

I've got the same problem with my LG PM-325 - it just repeats "expired server certificate"
I've turned the phone off for about 5 minutes and then back on - no luck.
I'll try the battery now.
Someone suggested clearing the cookies and cache - how do you do that with with the sprint brower? I don't see an option in the menu and "refresh" won't work.
Ironically, I tried calling Sprint about this yesterday AM and they said their systems were being upgraded and to call back in 2 hours. I just called about 20 minutes ago and got the same recording - nice eh?

Just for the record. There is a active service alert #589407 open for this issue due to the impact on customers nationwide. Currently it is being worked on but no time frame to a resolution was given.

It does appear to be an AOL problem as my coworkers have been getting the same error message from the desktop version for the last week or more. --ryan

Funny... I haven't had a problem with the desktop version.

Well here's something odd. I tried on my friend's 7400 and it gave the expired error but it prompted to continue anyway, which my phone won't do. Then on my phone i tried turning off the authentication caching and secure site prompting and then it worked. Then i turned the options back on and it still worked. So maybe it's working now.

I just tried it and it worked fine from my VM4500. I didn't change any settings either.

yea I think it's working now.... my settings are on the defaults like before. Might have just been coincidence that when I played with the settings they fixed it on their end.
well paint me green and call my gumby!
I just tried for the first time in about 2 days and was able to connect!
