I have been experiencing really good vision speeds from Friday night when I got my Treo until today at about 4:00-4:30.. Now I get download speeds of about 1k a second. Does this happen often? Do they throttle the speed down on customers accounts ever? Thanks a lot.

Because my phone is new.. I don't follow. I could see the network issue being a problem. How would my phone being new affect it.. It was working really fast for 4 days, now just recently turned slow.

I will concur that vision speeds do fluntciate alot, maybe it has something to do with EV-DO.
Today in the afternoon it was lighting fast.

Are you talking about vision or teathering your 650 to your comp ?

it has nothing to do with the phone being new...it is probably related to network traffic, unless the problem is persisten...I live in NYC and most of the time my connection is fine, but there are times I have trouble getting on the internet at all, let alone worrying about connection speeds...usually around rush hour it gets bad...probably a million people getting on line on their bus ride home or something...

in any case, it is probably network related...it could be hardware related if something got corrupted in the firmware, but it has nothing to do with how new your phone is...

damn dude all i can say is the wireless web on my 7400 is sooooooooo much faster than the one on my 8100! it was like upgrading to broadband from 56k!!!!!!!!
