View Full Version : Any word on new model Treos upgrades w/ Wi-Fi

I badly want to purchase the Treo650 but the only sore spot for me is that it doesnt have wireless capabilities. Any word on an up model to be announced that will have Wi-Fi.

Im in a pickle b/c I have the MM-7400 which I would sell and use the money towards the purchase of the 650, but I want to get rid of the 7400 while I can still get at least $225.00 for it. I dont want to wait too long. I dont want to buy the 650 only for a newer model to come out within the next 5 months w/ Wi-Fi.

I don't see it happening for a while. There are rumors that palm1 will release drivers for the wifi card, so you can go that route.

dont know about the wifi but the 650 was released in oct. 04. a new one should be around the corner but i havent heard anything here or any pda sites. other carriers just got their 650s so i dont know what palm is doing for its product life cycle on the thing.
