8100 Lockline replacement

My friend lost his 8100 last week and is getting a lockline replacement, I was wondering what people have been getting for replacements for these phones.

As per your question, I would think they would give you an 8200, but they may have 8100's still. You can only hope :)

I'd like an answer to that too.
I filed a claim and got a sph-A620 SAMSUNG tonight with no charger.
Did they make a mistake or are they just playing games.

I thought that would still have 8100's left.
They are closed for tonight, I'll have to sort this out in the morning

I have a friend who replaced the 8100 via lockline and got an 8200

They have always told me right when the claim was made.

I made 2 calls to Lockline. First time they said they theres nothing that they can do and that I have to keep the phone because if mines not available (Sanyo 8100) they just send out one with comparable features and thats part of the Lockline contract.

I studied that Samsumg and it seems like theres one feature missing, the call screen feature to listen to the caller while they are leaving a message on the phone.

If anyone knows of any other features the 8100 has that the A620 doesn't can you please post it.

On the second call the lady that I talked to happily put in another request for that feature since it wasn't on the Samsung.


Hopefully they'll send a Sanyo next week.

I'm waiting on my replacement for my 8100 but not thru lockline...thru Circuit City Protection plan... I'm hoping for a 8200
