you can try. all i know is that you will only be charged for a text message but sometimes sprint can't support it (sending to thailand) so it won't go through. i wish sprint would say which countries were available.

mine still doesn't work to the Philippines :( it'll still send, but most of the time, they can't send texts back to me. Once in awhile i'll get a successful text from someone there.

Same here from Hong Kong. They receive my text, but can't reply. However, they call me back with this IDD service, which they told me was free to calls originating in Hong Kong, and terminate in the United States. Oh, that's pretty cool!!! How is that possible from a cell phone? Wish Sprint had free international calling as part of their commitment to excellent customer service!
