A couple of issue:
1. If you buy Palm software from Sprint's Vision website through the Treo can you get a license somewhere so you can get newer versions from the software developer?
2. This one made me mad. :irked: I bought Bejewled2 from the Sprint Vision web site on my Treo (I bought it there to get my $5 premium credit and to have it on my bill) and I paid $19.99, the same price that it is everywhere else, and Sprint sent me the lite version without the music and graphics that the full version comes with. Now every other site sells you the FULL version for $19.99, why does Sprint sell the lite at the same price? Not only that but there is nowhere is the info about buying it on Sprints site that they ever mention that it’s the lite version! Does anyone know who I should contact at Sprint about this!?

Unfortunately I think this is NOT a Sprint issue. Their software purchase area is run by Handango, not Sprint. Even worse is that Handango is [probably] the WORST customer support organization I have seen. I don't know what your time is worth, but it's probably cheeper for you to spend another $20 and buy a retail version from PalmGear or someone other than Handango. I've complained to Sprint to no avail. They should dump that relationship (w/Handango) ASAP...

I know that the Treo 650 comes with an app that interfaces with a store that has Sprint's name on it but is run by Handango. I did not use that, I went to the browser and went to Sprint's Vision web site and bought it there. Does Handango run that as well?

Try emailing the developer of the software. I did this with Zlauncher, which I got from Sprint for $12. It was an old version so I updated and emailed the developer, who promptly sent me a registration code for the newer version. Tell them you bought the software from Sprint and you want the most up to date version but it is asking you for a registration code, would they be willing to give you one. Chances are, if you are polite, they will help you out.

I rarely buy software from Handago, or others. I either buy direct from the publisher, or buy retail box.
Buying from Astraware .com has it's advantages. You'll get mailing for discounts and such.

I just installed (for the third time) Zondervan Study Bible. I purchased the boxed software published by Mobile Digital Media through the Palm web site. The software takes most of my memory so I purchased a SD card. This program cannot run from the SD card. In the fine print from MDM it says that the software is harddrive only for MDM's protection. Yah I think this one is going back.
Do any of you fine SprintUsers have a work around for this?
