I have had the I500 for months and I am unable to send text messages from my phone. I took it to the service center and surprise surprise they were of no help to me. I have this same problem with my I300. Is it just a PDA thing?

These phones require third party software to send sms messages. A free application is available from
http://i500.nopdesign.com/
Otherwise, a more robust application is available from www.pdaapps.com (i500sms). It is not free, however.
