Look at the size of that disc! I know it's no Laserdisc.......but, it does appear larger than CDs and DVDs.

Actually, I think that's a regular old CD and it's presence is meant to emphasize how small the Nintendo Revolution actually is.

If that is a regular CD then that IS really small. Cool.

I do think it's a regular CD based on my comparison between how the human hand looks next to it.

in fact, engadget says that this prototype is larger than the final version. so it will be even smaller. plus, it has wireless controllers, will be able to play nintendo games from every system back to the original NES, and will have built in wifi.

Be still my heart... :-) Old games?! That's freaking awesome! Hope they don't charge an arm and a leg for them though... after all, they *are* already all over the internet and most are less than a meg. Would be a real shame if they try and squeeze $20 out of them...

It's cool you can download games, but why doesn't this darn thing have an HDD then?

I read this too! That's crazy cool!!! Old school rules. I'm going to be so poor in the next generation of gaming.

I really like how the Revolution looks too. I'm surprised it looks real nice. Simple and sleek. ...The only thing is...Nintendo is hiding the controller, I wonder what it's going to look like. I hope it matches the system's cool look. here's another Revolution pic:

I hope it's usable, unlike what I feel to be all of their most recent designs, starting with the N64. The controllers just started going downhill from there... And please no touchscreen...

I was really hoping the Revolution would have physical cartridge ports, but that's asking too much, huH? Oh well, someone will hack it, and I'll be able to legally play ROMs on it. Or, at least ROMs of the games I own, which are most.

Engadget said that the discs were 12cm, so yeah, pretty small.

This is not final. Nintendo didn't even have a functional one at E3.
