I'm now on my 3rd (and waiting for my 4th) Lockline replacement. I filed my last replacement request on May 6th, and the automated message today finally said that my request had been approved but had not been shipped. I decided to continue on to a CSR to find out if they again were sending a refurb 5300, or were actually paying attention to the comments on my account (to send a comparable model). My local Sprint Store has called on my behalf the last 2 times to request a comparable model phone, and both times they have noted the account.
The CSR I spoke with today again confirmed that my account had been noted to receive a comparable model. She also stated that the fulfillment center would most likely still send me a 5300, though. Apparently the warehouse doesn't read any notes on accounts, contrary to what Lockline CS will tell you. I asked if I could have a contact number for the fulfillment center, and I was told they don't have one. I found this a little odd, but continued to push forward. After 20 minutes of discussion (calm, not heated), she suddenly realized that my last request had been sent to "This one guy" that reviews claims that have been sent back more than once. Again, I asked for a contact number for this gentleman, but apparently he doesn't have a number either.
So what the hell? Are there really no phones at the Fulfillment center, and does this special guy really exist? Or perhaps am I being sedated temporarily while they process and send me another broken 5300?
