Just wanted to know if anyone had any idea of how to get better sound quality when creating ringtones of your own. i have a Sanyo 8200, looks like i can only receive qcp files on my phone so i do a lot of converting to this file type.

not much you can do, QCPs are naturally poor in quality.
Just eliminate the low frequencies, I guess.

Try increasing the volume on the .wav file before converting to .qcp

You would not actually get ringtones from walmart website, what you would do is got to the site, find a song that you like in the music section and save the mp3 file(to the harddrive) they let you listen to. Then you can convert it to a wav file using itunes and then convert it to qcp file using purevoice by quallcom.

Can any other types of ringtones be used with the 8200?
