I saw on TV a few days ago that Verizon is not offering unlimited IN picture mail and SMS for 5 dollars a month. Now if Sprint would only lower theirs a bit more. :fingers:

I'm getting unlimited vision and picture mail for 5 bucks! =) hehe...although, I wish that the unlimited sms would be included in that though....*sigh*....I saw that too. It's a pretty nice deal. Come on Sprint!

Yeah, IN messaging is nice........but still, Unlimited to ANYONE is better; now, it wouldn't be bad to have a PCS-to-PCS version as a cheaper choice....for Sprint customers.

Yeah I dont mind paying 10 bucks for unlimited pics and text for that amount is a good deal to me.. considering I send a large amount of both.. I believe my deal is fair enough.. and that I hate verizon..

i would mind paying 10.. im only paying 5.. along with everyone else... why are you paying 10? im paying 15 and getting unlimited vision and pics on both phones and unlim text on mine.

because im on a add a phone account and then picture mail and vision is only 5 bucks and 5 bucks for unlimited text..

Had a customer come in to pay a final bill. asked where they went for wireless now, she said VZW, then told me to ask her why, I was feeling good so I did. She said it was because of unlimited IN text and pix, she then asked why I was laughing. I asked who most of her friends had, she said Sprint or Cingular and thats who she sends text to, then pulled up the VZW site and she read it. What a happy VZW customer, she was told unlimited meant unlimited to anyone she sent text to not that it had to VZW. Oh well, Sprint rolls EVDO soon. Sprint needs to be proactive in this thing as text messaging is the in thing now, maybe include them unlimited with vision. An idea i should email Gary Forsee with that one.

I assume this customer "misunderstood" the concept. Working in retail I assume you of all people would understand that much.

I doubt anyone blatently told her unlimited text meant to any non VZW customer. However, remember that each unlimited text plan is provisioned with an allowance to sent texts to non VZW customers. With the $4.99 plan, you get 50 extra texts to non VZW customers. With the $9.99 plan, you get an extra 250 texts to non VZW customers etc.

I feel Sprint has always been ahead of Verizon on the ideas but they are poorly marketed. I just saw the Verizon commercial too and thought "those bastards...here they go again making people think they're the 1st, best, and only to do such and such" with that IN crap. Sprint beat VZW with in network calling but VZW ran with it with "IN".
