I have a Sanyo vm4500 phone and would like to download custom ringers. I really do not like anything that Sprint offers and would like to download from sites that offer them for free. I have the bitpim software and a usb cable to sync my phone. After reading some threads, I believe it's qcp files that I'm after.

I'm looking for all Star Wars music / sounds (Imperial March, Star Wars Theme, Tie-Fighter, Light Saber, Darth Vader Breath, Wookie, etc). Also looking for Mary J. Blige's Family Affair song.

I appreciate it if anyone can help me out with the process or any software I may need.

Thanks!

you might want to try doing a search in the forums fabout this or reading some of the FAQ's.
Aside from that, one of the easiest wasy would be to use the Focus downloader (top of the page, third from the left) to send the files to your phone.

Wirelessly posted (SHARP-TM-150/1.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.2.6.c.2.102 (GUI) MMP/1.0)

That would be far too easy.
