ok i had many problems with this but i figured it out...ok it is impossible to transfer qcp files to sanyo 8200 through cable futuredial has an update but i dont want to buy it and nothing supports qcp my method works try it. you must start out with a music file use mp3 or wav. If you use mp3 convert it to wav. then get a free program called wave splitter. You will load the wave and cut the file to 30 seconds of music. After you have your 30 second wav file get the program Quallcom purevoice (AKA QCP)use this program to convert it to a qcp save it then send it through a site called http://www.theward.net/sprint/ and send it to your phone.

That would kind of be the samething as sending it using the focus loader. It sends a link and you download it. But What im planning on doing is cancelling my Internet service on my phone. So I will not be able to do this anymore (using the focus uploader) Thats why I'm trying to figure out if anyones used a datacable to transfer a qcp file to your phone. Please correct me if I misunderstood what your saying but I will need the Internet on my phone for your method to work right??

Thanks for your help it's much appreciated.

I have a future dial cable and can transfer files back and forth to my 8200. The ringers on the 8200 are midi files (*.mid) these are small and you can fit a few in there. I think the cable is a No.#1

I down loaded this QUALCOMM PureVoiceŽ Player-Recorder from http://www.cdmatech.com/solutions/products/purevoice_download.jsp for free that converts first 30 secs of any *.wav to *.qcp very nice compression might i add took a 700kb *.wav and made it into a 51k *.qcp
