View Full Version : Sending ringers to Samsung a460?

I realize the samsung a460 is a very, very old phone. But my dad uses it now (it was my first phone when I was like a junior in high school... he doesn't need anything fancy so we just transferred it over to him when I was done with it) and I want to hook him up with a ringtone. I tried to send a qcp through rumkin.com's uploader but nothing happened (I tried to send it to the # and to short mail). I went to rumkin.com's site on the phone and entered the jump code and it said something like it was invalid.

Can anyone give any insight on this or have a solution? Usually I'm pretty quick in solving these problems on my phone but this one is so old that there isn't much I can do. I know some of you know a lot about these phones and hope you can help me out! :)

And by the way, thanks to all of the ringtone makers! I spent last night going through the 'request ringtones' thread and downloaded a bunch to my phone. They're awesome! :headbang2

The a460 used the ringers and more application on the 2g web to get ringtones...I doubt it is still available but then it again it might be so you have to log on to the web....I imagine the songs are very old .....

So it's pretty much impossible to send a ringer through the uploader? I assumed when I sent it that it would at least go into the web messages folder but that assumption ended up leading to a dead end.

I wish the phone wasn't so ancient. LOL.

Thanks though, I'll check out that app and see what I come up with. :)
