Hey guys, quick question. Just got an 8200 as an upgrade from my old and beat up 8100 and I was attempting to download some of the games I purchased from Sprint's site. They're in my content manager but I get the error that they're not supported by my phone. I understand the concept that a different phone will have a different CPU and OS so I'd need a different version of software. My question is there a way to get those games onto the 8200 without actually buying them again? I paid for the game once, and it's not like I'll be getting a *new* game.

if it were available for the new phone it would dl the correct version instead of the error message.

I had the same issue when I upgraded my SCP-8100 to the VI-2300. Apparently those games will not work. I had contacted sprint and at first they said to goto sprintpcs.com under my content management and click the refund link. However, I had to contact them again to let them know there was no such link. They eventually issued me a 30.00 credit for the games purchased. I suggest you contact them and request a credit.

hmm. i called sprint and talked to 2 different people and they both told me that i couldnt get refunds for the 17 games/items i had purchased on my 8100 that didnt work with my 5600. of all the games/items i purchased, yatzhee was the only one that worked.
i went to sprintpcs.com and when i click on the game in my content manager, i get an error saying that it isnt compatable with my phone. i dont have any other options to ask for refund..

...that is not the only problem...games that do work are crippled...Ms. Pacman is a prime example.
I'm stuck with the damn3d demo version...they want you to subscribe, rather than getting an unlimited expiration like the good old days...

well i did email sprint about my games not working. and they told me to contact them by phone. i did.they transferred me to the vision help desk and they looked at my account and tried to access the games and got the error. they created a ticket. i got a call 2 hours later and they told me that they would remove the games from my content manager since they are taking up room BUT because i didn't purchase these games in the last 60 days, i couldn't get credit for the 13 games that don't work or the 2 screen savers that don't work.. any suggestions.. i feel i should at least be able to get partial credit. these were all titles with unlimited access.
what is up with alot of the screensavers and ringtones not having unlimited access.
