Hello,
I am new to the forums and I recently subscribed to Sprint cell and received a Samsung A660.
I was wondering if I can take a wave and convert it to a m4a format and use it as a ringtone on this model phone.
I had referred to this http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/faq/index.php?Topic=m4a
and done the steps, but when I went to change the format to (FAAC/mp4), it is not shown in the dppower amp converter. I installed the Apple Lossless Decoding Codec too.
Also my other question is, will this m4a format sound better than the qcp format? I already made a qcp file and it just didn't sound good. The sounds was low and well it was blah sounding.
Any help given on this would be greatly appreciated.

m4a definitely sounds better and louder than qcp but only a few phones recognize that format. I am 99 percent sure that model does not though.

If you are nice there are some good people on here that would probably be more than willing to make a ringer for you for a particular song.

That is so cool, thanks.
You are right, my phone doesn't support the m4a files, too bad. I am just not happy with the sound of qcp as of yet. I already took a midi file and made it a ringtone and it sounds pretty good, but I would also like to have the real music sound too. o well, anyhow thanks!
