I had a phone 8200, that I lost and I switched to an old 8767 until I had the extra money for the lockline, but now I want to go ahead and file a claim. I called into activate the 8200 back on the acct about 4 hours ago, and when I called lockline they asked was it an 8767...? I said no, and that I will call back after I talk with Sprint to make sure it was active. I know I heard of one person who had it active for 24 hours then called lockline after they activated a phone.
Do you guys know for sure?

I smelled insurance fraud just by reading the subject line of this thread.

No, it's not insurance fraud. I originally had the phone but lost it, I've had the insurance for 2 years, but I didn't have the $50 and needed to activate my phone until I got the money for the claim. That's not fraud in my opinion. I had the phone but at the time didn't have the money. Anyway, they had records when I called in previously and it was within the 60 day period. They will replace it.

Sorry about that I guess I misunderstood. So you had insurance when you lost the phone, you just didn't have the money for the deductable as the time of the loss? Is that correct? If so, I appologize.
