Some choice quotes:
"Why in the world would you think your (cell) phone would work in your house?" he said. "The customer has come to expect so much. They want it to work in the elevator; they want it to work in the basement."
Seidenberg said it's not Verizon's responsibility to correct the misconception by giving out statistics on how often Verizon's service works inside homes or by distributing more detailed coverage maps, showing all the possible dead zones.

You want reception in your house? Thats ridiculous, you should be paying us for landline service too!
"He pointed out that there are five major wireless networks, none of which works perfectly everywhere."
Sounds like this guy is satisfied with being only as good as the rest. Shouldn't the CEO of a company have higher standards than that?

What happened to, "Can you hear me now?"
The same thing that happened to "wheres the beef?"
:)
I have noticed that those Verizon commercials are focusing less on that and more in their "IN" network claims.

What odd statements for the CEO of a company with a stake in a wireless company that cells its premium-priced service based on "the best network."

Can you imagine if when you reported a dropped call "Claire" told you you're being ridiculous?

lol that'd be hilarious
Thats funny but what does he expect when he uses a spokesman who walks all over the place going "can you hear me now-good" all the time. With every add saying it works in more places blah blah blah of course you are going to get that kind of response.
