Okay, I win the yawner of the week award for this post; however I'm curious if anyone has found the perfect screen protector.

I purchased the Belkin brand and they're really moddled and definitely NOT clear. So someone please enlighten me! (Not sure this matters but protector is for a 6600).

I suggest pocketpctechs.com. They are excellent though they're a little pricy. Though I will say that once you put one on, you probably won't need to put on another one. I've used their screen protectors and have had no issues with them and the service is very good.

Look for the C2 version which is clear. Your model should be under HTC Blue Angel or go by your screen size (which I think is 3.5".)

Hope this helps.

Belkin is not considered one of the premium brands. Most hardcore PDA users (which I would be considered as :) ) would generally recommend Boxwave (boxwave.com), Brando (brando.hk) or WriteShield (pocketpctechs.com). Of the three, I tend to like the WriteShield for my Axim, but overall prefer the Boxwave protectors...Boxwave's crystal protectors have a know problem with the Axims in that the edges tend to "lift" a little. You really can't go wrong with any of those 3 tho. Just decide if you want the antiglare or ultra clear variety...in my case I always go with the antiglare type since I seem to notice the glare off the glass easily.

Thanks for all the suggestions...very much appreciated. I understand that Belkin is low-end but at the time I'd just received my device and needed some protectors fast. Since that was all Raid-i-o Shack carried I purchased them, thinking, well they're all probably the same. Untrue.

Your assistance will keep me from ordering and trying each and every one out there!

I ordered and received some Boxwaves today and put one on my new Treo 650. It's very nice. It's very clear and the stylus writes very smoothly on it. I'd recommend it.
