I tried one in the store...sounds really nice, but then I just used the regular adaptor with my RadioShack pro headphones, and it sounds GREAT!
What adapter do you use?

I bought this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3311&item=6386774150&tc=photo) adapter on eBay. I just got it today and it works great, now I need a bigger card. The price was a little high, but we don't have a good electronic store or a good Radioshack here. So it was cheaper then going all the way to Las Vegas to get one. :)

i bought an adapter from radio shack and the sound only comes out of 1 ear.

see the sprint one which they sell in the store is cool because the headphones are detachable, so you can plug in any 3.5mm headphones to it...here is a picture of it:

Yes, you can use regular headphones with it (2.5mm/sanyo to 3.5mm/headphones). I wouldn't have bought the adapter if it didn't accept regular headphones. The sound is in stereo, both ears. Jast a inexpensive pair of Koss heaphones I bought at Best Buy a couple of years ago. :)

Its $40, which is kinda steep...its kinda up to you...I might buy 1, but its just not too worth it for me as of right now...I watch videos more then I listen to music off the phone

 That is steep! And your right, it's not really worth it. I have no problem just unplugging the adapter I have now to answer calls.

do those have a mic and a turbo button? i'm looking for something like the one that came stock with the phone but the earpieces are garbage.
I'd like to have headphones with a mic and turbo button for on the fly situations.

Deval I am VERY interested in these since you can plug in your own headphones and still have a mic/turbo button built in. The only problem is I dont see it anywhere on http://www.sprintpcsaccessories.com. The only one on there is the FM stereo model which doesnt have those features. I tried calling all my stores in the area and no one seems to have one either!
