does anyone know what the next generation of the ppc-6600,6600 is (or will be)?

any general info....
model/expected cdma(sprint) release/ etc...

my friend is getting itchy to buy a 6600...
just curious.

what are the reasons they are wanting the 6600? if there looking for the pda/phone there not expecting another pda/phone with the same features or any upgrades untill nov 05 to jan of 06. if there just wanting the great features like mp3, bluetooth, great cam and all that without the pda id look at the new lg coming out. or wait till summer!!!

well the mda IV is the next in line. . . but from what I understand HTC tends to skip every other model for CDMA release, so we may have to wait until the mdaV.

anyway, the mdaIV looks like it's a solid pda with a phone on the side. 640x480 screen, two cameras, full thumboard, fast processor. . . even rumored to have the latest windows mobile incarnation.
