I unsubscribed from a game a few days ago, and yesterday I logged onto sprintpcs.com to verify that the request went through . . . Not only is that game unsubscribed, all of my games and apps with monthly charges are unsubscribed, including an app that I downloaded four days ago.
It's not that huge of a deal because it's not as if it's going to kill me to resubscribe and redownload if I have to, but it is kind of annoying and could be indicative of a bigger problem. I called CS last night and the rep I talked to was completely baffled and had no idea what to tell me, except, "I know that you know that some things expire, but these shouldn't expire until you . . . expire them." Helpful.
I called tech support when I woke up this morning, after verifying that everything is still unsubscribed. Completely baffled the tech rep, too. He explained to me that subscribed games and apps will sometimes automatically unsubscribe after two or three months, which covers at least one of my games, but definitely not the new app. He said that as far as he could see, there was no reason for all of these to be unsubscribed. Since there was really nothing he could do, he told me to keep an eye on it and if this happens again, they'll have to research a little more in-depth. So I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't happen again and that it doesn't lead to anything major.
Has anyone else ever had this problem?
