View Full Version : file to large error when uploading!?!?!?

ive tried to send ringers to my phone a gazilion times, each time i try to send it, it says file too large. i followed the instructions to the "T", and it tells me that it is too large. If anyone has any info i will be thankful

In your conversion something went wrong I and i am sure anyone else that is gonna reply will need more info as to which programs you are useing to convert the files.

If you have a large file you can upload here..... http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ ......focus has a limit on file size

yea sorrie i was a lil confused when i posted, but i tried using a sound recorder to trim the wav file, then converting it to a qcp file. when i did it that way when i try to download it on my phone it says file to large. but when i tried using dppower amp and converting it to a mp4 it says file to large. so i dont know what im doing wrong to make it not work.

Unless you have a Samsung A700, Sanyo 7400 or 5600, mp4/m4a/AAC will not work on your phone. When making QCPs, make sure your files are 30 seconds or less and converted to 8kHz, 16bit, Mono. To make sure your finished file works, test it on the PureVoice QCP player. Then, making sure the filename has no spaces in it, upload it to your phone and everything should be fine.

i used it a couple time and it says error file to large. it works in the player but it wot transfer to my phone. one of my friends who showed me this site sent me a ringer before so i know i can get them but i dont know why i cant send them
