5600 camera problem

Ok now im starting to get real irrated with a phone that I damn near payed $500 for. Normally when you try to take a picture with your phone it proceeds to "Saving to Camera" and gives you the success noise or whatever u wanna call it. In my case when I try to take a pic it gets to "Saving to Camera" and all of a sudden my screen goes black and cuts back on to the main screen without saving the picture. It does the same thing when I try to assign a picture from "In Camera" AND does the same thing when trying to save a video to "In Camcorder". This is by far the most annoying thing I have ever experienced in my life but thats what I get for buying brand new phones with new technology i guess. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES WITH THEIR 5600???? Please let me not think I'm the only 1 with a f@#Ked up phone.

Nope i have never had this happen, i would have you phone looked at. What about saving to the miniSD?

take it back to the sprint store and exchange it. but i am not having any probs with mine.

Thats all that matters...every phone with Sprint has issues....a creaky hinge and one phone here and there with a couple of minor issues hardly accounts for a lemon Sanyo 5600 line....I love my Sanyo 5600 even if I got it at a bargain...new act and then some off due to a Sprint issue...I paid close $179.99....cant beat that anywhere else.... :p

Well me, I went from the a620, 4500/5500, rl 760, MOTO Startact, now the VI660 and I get my $150 rebate on july 4, 2005. Not sure what to get but it's looking to be the lg125 or sanyo 2300 or a MOTO that has blue tooth. After messing around with the 5500, I can take the basic phones! As long it has a speaker phone, ex caller id, blue tooth its fine with me.No more than $300 for a phone that is going to have an upgrade later on.But enjoy yaself.

I cant wait for a new phone to come out so everyone will focus on every lil problem that arises with it so i can come bash it. I can see it now. "my a800 speaker blew out!" or my lg slider mechanisim sticks and creaks when opened! LOL. :)

My MM5600 has worked super for me with out one problem. Compair to my old MM7400, the MM5600 is a dream phone.

The only "problem" that I've come across (which really isn't a problem IMO) is after I take the picture, it's saving the pic and I'll move the phone the picture will turn into a blur. I just learned to keep my hand steady for a few seconds after until i know it's saved. Other than that this is really a great phone for me.

Yeah I am still trying to learn that trick...getting better though. Only problem Ive noticed when saving is sometimes with video I get a failed to save msg and my video is gone. Im thinking because the internal memory was low.

I've had my 5600 for about two months now (bought it new from Radio Shack) and just yesterday it started doing the EXACT SAME THING. Took it to the Sprint store, they said they don't know and they're going to try to do something with the software tomorrow (they said the machine was broken yesterday) so we'll see what happens. If that doesn't work, they'd better give me a 9000 (they have 1 in stock). But I'd really just like them to be able to fix this... I want to keep my analog roaming capability.

Sprint needs to re set the phone. COMPLETELY. Had the exact same problem with mine. Take it in, tell them to do it just make sure they back up the numbers

My 5600 is also flawed i am on my second one and it is totally messed up. Mine wont even come on.
