I recently added a 5th phone on my existing 2000 minute plan which has the grandfathered free unlimited vision and unlimited SMS on the first 4 phones. After asking the Sprint Store rep three times "will this phone have the exact same unlimited vision package as the other phones?" and receiving a "yes" answer each time I later found that he had actually added the 2 month free trial of vision for the 5th AAP. I called Sprint Customer Service and tried explaining this to the rep who after placing me on hold four or five times for a total of about 50 minutes told me that he could not find a code for free vision for the 5th phone and that vision with picturemail would be $5/mo. I asked if vision w/o picturemail would be free and he responded that no, this too would be $5/mo. I added the $5 vision w/picturemail and found that this only includes 100 SMS messages. My questions for any Sprint reps who read this is 1.) Is there truly no way to add this AAP 5th phone w/free unlimited vision? 2.) Should I also be entitled to unlimited SMS?

unfortunately, your historical plan is no longer available. the best that you can do is to add $5 for unlimited text messaging (this is bec you have the vision plan) sprint can no longer give you the vision paln with unlimited text messaging for free..

try asking a cs rep to switch the code for the 5th phone to match the code that the other phones use to get the promise of the free vision. It takes a VERY experienced rep to know how to retrieve the old code from the historical plan section and make it work;and it can only be done with a rep high enough to have access to the old system. They may even have to get a sup to do this.If they do,it still may not give unlimited SMS-just keep your fingers crossed...
And remember, they don't HAVE to do this, since the new 5th phone is not contractually obligated to the old pricing structure; it's kinda like insisting on a new 5th tire at 3 year old prices: if ya can get it,sweet...if not, don't sweat it,(ya tried!)
If they can't do it for ya, keep smiling anyway, 'cause you are lucky enough to have 4 phones at the old prices.. :-)
