I set up my phone to be able to send pictures to my blogger.com blog. And it worked, but it wasn't just the picture that got put on the blog. It was like a mini web page. I simply want the image to be on the blog.
I've looked it up and it seems that there's a way a to do this, by stripping all the extra junk out of the html, but I don't understand. I need a step by step process. Anyone willing to help?
Thanks

I don't think there's anything you can do about it actually; i think blogger would need to modify there recieving code to parse out the picture. i've had the same problem. i found textamerica.com does the picture parsing correctly. but unfortunately i don't think there's any real way to fix the issue with blogger. sorry.

there'a a way to do it using Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/help.gne#55), I believe.
How do I post photos to my blog?
First you'll have to configure an external blog, (do that here). Alternatively, you can find the blog set up by going to 'Your account' and selecting 'Your blogs', which takes you to the same place. You'll be guided through the set-up process and at the end you can try a test post to make sure everything works.
Once that's done, you can blog any public photo you see on Flickr. When you're looking at a single photo, for example, http://www.flickr.com/photo.gne?id=23754, you'll notice the "Blog This" button next to it.
If you don't see a "Blog This" button, you probably either need to make the photo public (to do that, click the word "private" that appears under the photo on your photos page and to the right of the photo on that photo's individual page), or you need to install Flash. You can check your Flash version here (make sure you have version 6 of higher). If you need to install Flash, it is a free download available from Macromedia.
Click the 'Blog This' button for the photo you want to post. Assuming you've set up your blog, you will be able to post straight away by adding a Title and Body for the post. There's a link to your blog as well so you can check that the entry looks OK.
We currently support the following blogs:
Blogger
Typepad
Movable Type
LiveJournal
Manila
Atom Enabled Blogs
Blogger API Enabled Blogs
Meta Weblog API Enabled Blogs
You can set up as many blogs as you like.
You can also create your own Flickr moblog. When you upload a photo to Flickr via email, and you have at least one blog set up in Flickr, we can post your photo to your blog automatically. Check your settings here.

I use flickr.. here is my site: http://www.ghostyroasty.com
I just set flickr to update my blogger site automatically.
The last two pictures were posted using Flickr... the last Buzznet... With buzznet you have to manually go in and click blogthis.

As was posted before, you can do it via flickr. When you create an account with flickr, you have the ability to set up blogs so that you can post your pics. Once you set up some blogs (and as the previous poster showed, they support multiple blog apps), then you can set flickr up to automatically update your blog when you email a picture to flickr. You actually get two email addresses from flickr for this - the main one, which is generated by them and is just to post to flickr, and then the same exact email, except with "2blog" added to it right before the @.
I set up my expression engine blog for this last night, using the BloggerAPI option, and it works. The only problem I have is that Sprint adds "A Picture Share!" as the title to every single picture you send, so all your blog posts will have that title. But flickr will enter any text that you send along with the pic as the body of the message, so you can describe the photo, which is neat.
I set up blogger, and it works just fine. You can even set up a template as to how you want the entries to look on your blog. The only thing is that if you use categories in your blog (like I do), you'll have to go back into your blog and manually assign those categories to your entries. Hopefully they fix that.

Expression Engine is the commercial offering from Pmachine: http://www.pmachine.com/expressionengine/
With the latest version (1.2.1) you can use flickr on your EE blog via the Blogger API. It's nifty, super easy to use, and very powerful. I love it. It's a little pricey, but I was one of the lucky ones who was given a free license when they first introduced EE. It came out right around the time Movabletype went commercial. They have a trial if you're interested, and I tell you, after using it, I would gladly pay for it. In fact, my 1 year of free updates is almost up, and I will be paying for another year of support, it's that good.
