Hello!

I have my phone in field test mode, and I'm trying to figure out what everything means. Here's an example of what shows up on the screen:

248 4 3(5)(6) 3(F)(F) ()= Values Constantly Changing
000 00 (1)(0)(6) (A)(E)
RxLev: -72.1
CH: 450 SCI:2
VB6 I-- T-- C2
B8 -- --

Anyone out there know what all this means? Also, I have a Samsung sch-A310 and in Field Test mode I can change the vo-coder, whether or not to use Analog, CDMA, etc. Is there a way to do this with this phone?

Also, my phone seems to choose Analog over digital roam. Anyway to Correct this?

Thanks!

Mike.

For the test mode, that is strictly for technichians, as for the analog, you can fix this by checking first off if your phone is selected to choose analog or not. Go to settings>Raoming>And check if status of signal is on analog, automatic, or sprint. And if not on sprint put it on sprint. If on sprint then you are in an area where analog is only availible service in your area.

No way to force it into digital roam? Doesn't have as many options as a Samsung sch A310 does in field test mode....

You can force the 8200 for analog. Its in the settings option and under Roaming.
