Thanks to MCDGI for his posting under phone reviews for a weather channel that is free from the government. Yes, I know, the gov doesn't give away anything free, but this site is and it is accessable from your Vision enabled phone!

I am using it on my 7400 as I type this and the pictures from Radar are as good as seen on tv.

There is a FREE mobile Mapquest site that works great too! But I can't find the thread the info was carried in. Can someone pls find that and let me know. I know the wap site was actually for a PDA, but it worked great on my 7300 and 5300 and now I want it for my 7400. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if there are anymore mobile sites you have found useful, pls post here and I'll check them out and let everyone know how they work. Okay.

I needed that. It is a free way to use Mapquest w/o paying for it and it works really well!

It was originally designed for PDAs, but it works great on phones as well, and it's completely FREE! :hee: I've been using this for over a year now.

I've always found this to be a good mobile shortcut for weather:

It's from Wunderground mobile weather. Substitute your zip code at the end of the link where mine says 24501.

It's my favorite mobile weather shortcut yet, as you can see current weather, radar, and forecast all on the same page, and you can zoom into the radar for a good quality image.
